INSTITUTIONS
What is a film institution?
- A film institution is any company or organisation that distributes, produces and exhibits films. Each institution has a specific genre for films that they will produce, for example Disney would never produce a horror or thriller movie however, Twisted Pictures would never produce a cartoon about a princess.
What type of film institution would represent out film opening?
- The genre of our opening scene is a thriller therefore we need a film institution that represents existing thriller movies. Below are the film institutions that I have researched that could be appropriate for our opening scene.
